Name: Jonathan Bruce Hastings

Jon is an active member of Church180. He serves on the Venue Control roster and also as director of African Missions. Jon says, the best thing about Church180 is being part of a healthy and growing family that’s building the Kingdom of God in Newcastle.

Where is your dream holiday? Wow, that’s a hard one, too many choices… how about seeing the sunrise from the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, then unwinding in historic Zanzibar, or doing the amazing race with my amazing wife.

Which three people would you invite to dinner, and why? My family, we always have fun at dinner time, non-family would be: John Anderson – former Australian politician; Warren Buffet – an American investor, industrialist and philanthropist; and Jamie Oliver – a phenomenon in the world of food.

What music is getting the most airplay on your iPod at the moment? Gossling, Dave Matthews Band, and the new UNITED album – Aftermath.
What book are you reading? The Bible and a ninety page tender document.

A movie you would recommend that you have seen recently? THOR – a fictional superhero who is sent to live among humans on Earth, where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders!

What do you do in your spare time? In my spare time I enjoy being with my family doing fun stuff, surfing, and cooking for friends.
