How are you involved at Church 180? I am on the Worship Team, a Kids Leader (which either makes me want to scream, laugh out loud at the things they say, or melt at their cuteness, depending on the day!), a Switch Connect Group Facilitator, and part of the Lakeside Leadership Team.
What is the best thing about Church180? That it is a forward-thinking church that is passionate about making a difference and reaching outside of our immediate scope; not just being content with those of us that already attend! The vision is BIG and the influence is BIG.
Where is your dream holiday? Going back to Positano on the Almafi Coast of Italy, or seeing the Greek Islands and I do like the sound of the Caribbean.
Which three (3) people would you invite to dinner and why? My school friends that have moved away from Newcastle (that only counts as one!), Dr Phil and Dr Robi Sonderegger so I could glean from their knowledge and see how the two differ in their views and experience of psychology, and Carl Barron to lighten the mood!
What music is getting most airplay on your iPod at the moment? Coldplay’s latest album, Adele, and Foster the People.
What book/s are you reading? Why Christians can’t trust Psychology ... I’ve just finished a degree in psychology so wanted something thought-provoking about how the two interact! And A Lineage of Grace – gives a great perspective on the life lived by some key women of the Bible.
A movie you have seen recently that you would recommend? I finally got around to watching the Lord of the Rings film trilogy! Definitely worth the time and loved the spiritual aspects of good versus evil.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Going to the beach and being out in the fresh air, cooking, and reading; especially now that I can get back to reading what I want, not textbooks or journal articles!
